I'll
be posting lots more actual reunion photos
soon. I am just posting them in the order
received. Many of these were of the train
trip from Portland, Oregon to Baton Rouge. At
first I thought the shipmates may not want
to look at a bunch of train ride scenery
photos and I was going to remove several of
these. Then I got to thinking. These are
photos of the United States Of America and
what everyone of you was defending and I
started to view them differently. Maybe it's
good to go to reunions but also maybe it's
good to smell the roses along the way and
remember what the war was all about. When I
think about it that way it's hard for me to
remove even one of the photos that Clyde
sent to me of our beautiful Nation.

The lady
in the photo above was upset because she was
jogging and our train went in her path & she
had to wait. Oh well, some people salute us
and some people just don't like to have
their jogging interrupted.
